During my solo journey through Thailand, I stumbled upon a place to stay in Bangkok that caught me by surprise: Hop Inn hotels, a name I recognized from the Philippines.
Discovering it in Thailand piqued my curiosity, making me eager to explore what it offered.
Booking Process
I secured my stay through booking.com, a platform I’ve trusted since 2015 for snagging great deals.
The app’s reviews are consistently accurate and trustworthy.
It offers flexible payment options, allowing you to pay in advance or at the hotel, with both cash and card accepted.

First Impressions
Situated within walking distance from the Onnut train station, the hotel’s location is ideal, especially for someone who prefers minimal walking.
The check-in process was smooth, complemented by the welcoming staff.
The Room
This relatively new hotel captivated me with its minimalist design.
My room featured a double-sized bed and a window overlooking the street, yet it was the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities that stood out.
They provided towels, toiletries, and even daily water bottles, ensuring comfort without intrusion.
The presence of a small fridge and a work-friendly desk with reliable Wi-Fi made my stay both comfortable and productive.
Despite facing the bustling street, the room remained a quiet retreat.

Dining Options
The area around the hotel brims with dining choices.
From a convenient 7-11 across the street to local street vendors and a nearby mall called Tesco Lotus, with a variety of food options, everything you need is within reach. Inside the mall is also a supermarket, where I was able to buy some Thai goods that I can bring home.
The night food bazaar near the Onnut train station is also worth exploring.

Value for Money
The stay offered excellent value for money. Priced at approximately S$47 (THB 1250) per night, even a last-minute booking felt like a steal. With potential for even better deals when booking in advance or catching promos on booking.com, the value is undeniable.
Overall Experience
My decision to return is easy, thanks to the unbeatable combination of price and location.
The area’s relative quiet compared to more crowded parts of Bangkok, making Hop Inn an ideal choice for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience.
